You ever feel like no matter how many times you clean your room or house it keeps getting dirty again? Plastic storage containers is one of the best investments you have to look into in order to not only reorganize everything but also it’s cheap to buy. The open space you have on the ground is limited but the space you have surrounds you can be used to the point where you run out of room. A lot of time we don’t use empty space which I refer to as space that isn’t touching any surface, mainly because nothing we have really floats, we love to have lots of open areas, or don’t know what to do with this empty space.

Plastic storage containers are pretty much containers made out of plastic material that its sole purpose is to store anything you want in there. There are many different types of plastic containers that range from: different colors, sizes, shape, whether it’s see through or not, whether they have handles on them, whether they have a lid or have drawers meant for storing clothes, or even containers to store food. When it comes to plastic storage containers here are some things you should first think about:

1) What are you planning on storing? You can pretty much put whatever you like but I wouldn’t put anything that is a big as the container itself because it would waste of the storage container. Try to organize everything you have first then figure out if you want to store it away. I try to separate what I might need soon from the things I wouldn’t care if it was put away for a year.

2) What size container do I need? Normally when I’m ready to buy one I always stumble upon the exact size. This can be easily figured out if you separate your belonging into category or whatever you want and kind of estimate the size of each group before hand. Because a lot of times when I buy a storage container and I go home I realized I need more and you get lazy once you are already home and you start put it off and generally won’t happen until a month later, at least for me

3) Where are you planning on putting it? I have my own room and I have limited space for all my belongings which accumulate through the years, so there are a lot of possessions I generally don’t use. So I pick an area in a room where I don’t mind having stackable plastic storage containers and place everything in these containers and just stack them up as high as I can get it. A lot of time people place them in their garage to get it out of the way to keep the house looking good, it’s up to you.

The plastic food storage containers are the best when you have left over food which you don’t want it to go bad. You can seal it up in a container and save it for another time. I generally place them in these plastic containers mainly because they are cheap and you can reuse them easily compared to a zip lock bag.

There are storage containers that looks like a drawers like the picture on the right where you can store clothes and it’s a lot cheaper than buying a real drawer. Some of them actually comes with wheels so it's easier to move around. Other containers like clear plastic storage containers, plastic storage containers with lids, and they are made in many different sizes.

I find great use in these containers when it comes to moving because they have handles on them which many boxes don’t. You won’t have to worry about wasting cardboard storage boxes when it rips or if you have written labels all over them which you can’t remove. Also when you get the storage containers where you can see through them, you can find a lot of your possession faster this way just buy looking around it, rather than a box which you can’t see anything. I hate when you have to take everything out of a cardboard box just to look for something that is probably not even in there.

As far as cost goes, you can see online that they are already as cheap as they can get but generally I would buy them at your local discount superstore because there’s no point of buying cheap things online if you end up paying extra for shipping and handling.

The only reason I would go online is to look for the possible style these storage containers have to offer, other than that I normally don’t buy them online.
